Bio

Emily Lesch is 22 years old and is a student at Texas State University majoring in photography. She also spends time working in the photo lab at Texas State as a lab monitor, furthering her experience with all aspects of photography. Throughout her studies, Emily has explored many different mediums which include darkroom development, welding, woodwork, drawing, and painting. Emily takes inspiration from archival images and documents to create new works. She also enjoys finding unique ways to combine her images with the sculptural process to give them a new life.
